After working with executives for the past three years, both in her coaching practice and in training seminars, Leslee Small learned they have much in common. One point that repeats often is that they lack an advisory team to bounce ideas with, a peer group to discuss strategic plans, future needs, personnel issues and industry trends. Because of this, Small Strategies decided to bring together groups from small and medium businesses to serve as peer strategy groups for each other.
Small Strategies Strategy Groups will not be industry specific. All businesses share common attributes, common dilemmas and problems regardless of the uniqueness of their products or services.
Strategy Groups will meet monthly at a site to be determined for two to three hour sessions. Leslee Small will serve as the group facilitator allowing time for members to share their company issues and addressing relevant and timely topics for discussion by the membership. Leslee will make site visits to members' companies prior to forming the strategy group in order to get to know not just the participants, but their businesses as well. In addition to the monthly group meeting, each participant will meet with Leslee monthly for an individual coaching session.
You don't have to be a big mega corporation to have a Board of Directors. Join one of Small Strategies Strategy Groups now and create one with your business peers. Make a plan to learn and move forward together - to grow our businesses as the economy grows in 2004.
